Leadership and Membership
The Academy for Academic Personnel Administration (AAPA), established in 1972 by individuals engaged in collective bargaining with faculty in four-year colleges and universities, emphasizes information exchange about activities and developments in this area of higher education, based upon the experience of practitioners in the field. Ample opportunity is provided for information contacts and peer discussions. The conference proceedings and group discussions are confidential. Participation in the AAPA is generally restricted to persons who represent management in the area of labor relations.
